Bourgogne, Rouge, Bachelet Monnot

Crunchy fresh red berry fruit, also offering glimpses of crisp red cherry. Light on its feet and not showing much of the “solaire” character of the vintage. Very pure. This is in fact one third declassified Maranges villages, one third declassified Hautes Côte de Beaune and one third Bourgogne from the Puligny commune. 20% whole-bunch fermentation. Aged in 25% new oak barrels.
