A really enticing herbal, spicy and sappy nose leads in to a palate bristling with cool acids, nutty oils, sage and citrus. Sparkling, clear and bright, there is impressive complexity and drinkability here within a framework of lime, apple and gooseberry fruits – a touch of smoky reduction lends further interest. Really nicely judged. From vineyards situated at 720m, fermented and raised in stainless steel with the wine kept on the lees until bottling.
