The region is renowned for producing grapes with great freshness and concentration of flavour, thanks to fog and cooling breezes that roll in from the San Francisco Bay. The wine it’s then aged in fine French oak for 14 months for added depth and smoothness. Expect expressive aromas of ripe plum and black cherry, with dark fruit flavours and spice on the palate.
